Country Walk

Its been a nice week being together with mum and dad, winter is just settling in so it has been nice to keep warm in the hotel with all the log fires on. We are heading home today so I wanted to go for one last walk before we hit the road.

This is me all wrapped up during our walk, when we got back we packed the car and headed home. We made a quick stop at the bottom of the road to get our journey sweets, mum and dad got Haribo and i got some nice fruit.

Christmas Tree Day

Today its Christmas tree day, I got everyone up early and we headed off into the mountains to the big Christmas tree forest. Dad always gets us a real Christmas tree but now im a little older dad arranged for a guide to take us into the forest to cut down our own tree.

We hiked a short way then went on a quad bike deep into the forest (I didn’t know what a quad bike was but it was good fun when we got on it)

When we arrived we all looked round for a nice tree to cut down and I found this nice little tree, mum and dad said we needed a bigger one but I was happy with this one.

I helped the woods man cut the tree down with his big chainsaw then we carried it back to the car.

This is me just before I used the chainsaw.

Christmas Mia

Today I wanted to get all our things ready for Christmas. I told dad that we had to go buy out tree and decorations but he told me that I had to wait to buy out tree as we were going to make a special trip into the forest to cut down our own tree.

This is me buying all out Christmas decorations.

Movember 2011

I got up with dad and helped him light the open fires in our hotel rooms. On a cold winters day its really nice to have an open log fire in your hotel room.

I then packed my walking gear and took dad for a good walk over the headland and into Abersoch. the weather was a bit challenging but we made it to the village. On the way back we stopped off at the art gallery to look at the new artists that were on display.

This is me and mum in the art gallery cafe, we both look upset because today is the last day for my Movemeber moustache and I have to shave it off tomorrow.
